Pork Spare Ribs Toyo-Mansi

Makes 2 servings


1 pound pork spare ribs, cut into manageable pieces
1/3 cup Sun Tropics® Pure Calamansi
¼ cup soy sauce
2 Tablespoons dark soy sauce
3 Tablespoons brown sugar
10 cloves of garlic, crushed
Ground black pepper
4 dried bay leaves
1 cup water


  1. Mix all ingredients in a medium pot and cook over high heat with the lid on.
  2. When boiling, gently stir, turn down heat to medium low and put the lid back on.
  3. Cook for 30 minutes until pork is tender.
  4. Reduce sauce by raising heat to high, lid off.  Stir occasionally.
  5. Serve with rice.
