Crispy Sweet Chili Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients:

1 lb brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved or quartered
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
2 1/2 Tbsp Silo StreetFood Thai Sweet Chili Sauce
1 Tbsp maple syrup
2 tsp tamari soy sauce
1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.  Place brussels sprouts on a baking tray. Drizzle with olive oil, garlic, salt and ground black pepper. Toss to coat well. Spread brussels sprouts in an even layer and place in the oven for 20 minutes, tossing them halfway to cook evenly.
  2. Remove brussels sprouts from the oven and turn oven to broil.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together Thai Sweet Chili sauce, maple syrup and tamari soy sauce. Pour over brussels sprouts and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Broil brussels sprouts for 5 minutes or until the chili sauce is bubbling and caramelizing.
  5. Remove from the oven and top with almonds before serving.
