Spiced CocoRolls Trifle

Makes 8-10 Servings

Ingredients:

3 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
2 Tbsp butter
3 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp ground cloves
2 cups heavy cream, cold
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 4 oz Sun Tropics Salted Caramel CocoRolls, lightly crushed
Walnuts, roughly chopped, for garnish

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Cook for 6-8 mins., until tender. Let cool slightly.
  3. In a trifle dish, layer whipped cream on the bottom, followed by a layer of spiced apples, then a layer of crushed CocoRolls.
  4. Repeat layers until dish is filled, finishing with whipped cream on top.
  5. Garnish with more crushed CocoRolls and walnuts. Serve chilled.
