Chicken Adobo


½ cup soy sauce
6 Tablespoons Sun Tropics® Pure Calamansi
1 head garlic, peeled & crushed
3 ½ Tablespoons brown sugar
1 ½ pounds chicken pieces, cleaned
Dash of black pepper
1 piece dried bay leaf


  1. Mix soy sauce, Pure Calamansi, garlic, and brown sugar in a large bowl.
  2. Marinate chicken pieces in mixture.  Refrigerate for 30-60 min (overnight if time permits).
  3. Boil chicken in marinade under high heat. Add bay leaf and black pepper.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and continue boiling for 30 minutes.
  5. Serve with rice.
